I wanted to love it, but there are a couple of problems that I really can't get past. 1. Player momentum-platformingThis game wants to be a platformer, but the momentum of the PC is infuriating. I had absolutely no confidence that I could put the player where I wanted to on screen. Making small movements is very difficult. Some physics decisions are difficult to understand. I walked into a bridge I had placed and instead of stepping up on top of it, the character kicked it off the ledge and then walked off the ledge to its death.2. Interface and optionsThis game is obviously meant to be played with a controller, and the keyboard/mouse combination is kind of an add-on. The game uses a ring interface to select one of 6 tools, and the mouse selection is not really usable because very small movements of the mouse will change the tool selection, so it's difficult to get the tool you want with any kind of reliability.There are few control options, so rather than being able to assign keys to each of the 6 tools, e.g., 1-6, or qazwsx or something like that. Also, the view is isometric, so walking in a primary, cardinal direction requires two keys to be held, and it would be nice if up were bound to top-right, so that only one key would be needed. If that were at least an option, I'd love it.But! The game looks really nice, and I love the style.. This game is wonderful! If you feel like puting your brain to the test, this game is for you! Graphics are amazing: people have posted asking if they are glitches but in reality, I actually think it's part of the game. Because its set to look 'comic-ish' so therefore, the glitches occur because its their form of style. You will se why that is important if you want to play the game yourself. I highly reccommend! Music is also incredibly well done!. To make this shorter, just to mention a few things that might interest someone: - Ineresting story - Solid gameplay (controles can be set in the Options and easy to control) - Game not to short, not to long ( I don\u00b4t know about others but for me it was great to have full 8 - 10 hours expirience) - Beatiful enviroment and componented music - Challenging and interesting levels and puzzles (Well still sometimes easy sometimes hard but it is easy to cooperate with puzzles) - The only thing I miss and want to be fixed is saving, checkpoints and colletable birds (beacuse if you want a different ending and collected too many \/ less birds you neeed to play it again).Overall, I had a great expirience and for me it is a wonderful game! Very good. Took a little while to get used to the controllers. There are a couple of "stressfull" situations were i had to put away the gamepad and go with keyboard+mouse instead (personal flavor when speed is required). Much harmonic game with really nice artwork and story.Some are complaining of the stretched save points but i didn\u00b4t found that like a big issue, thus i had very short sessions it felt almost like an auto-save-game.Thank you Somnium and keep up the good work!
